Tests

Examination to observe the fundus of the eye and its periphery. A light is used to visualize the retina with the help of a powerful convex lens. The presence of dilation of the iris (mydriasis) is necessary.

Preparation:

  • Drops for dilation of the iris. These eye drops will be placed according to medical indication.

Warnings:

The drops used may temporarily affect your vision, resulting in sensitivity to light, difficulty focusing, seeing clearly and assessing distances. It is recommended that you do not drive after administration and that you wear sunglasses on the street.

It will be relevant to tell if you have high blood pressure, glaucoma, any allergies or if you are pregnant.
